Alma Valencia
Alma Valencia is a graduate of Fresno City College and has an associate's degree in Medical Administrative Assisting with a Business Office Occupations Certificate.
Mrs. Valencia works at University Medical Imaging as a front Office Assistant, helping patients. She has many years of customer service experience and enjoys working with the public. Her medical job experience includes work for a vascular surgeon, an obstetrician gynecologist, and a health system.
Mrs. Valencia is happily married and the mother of three boys. Away from work, she enjoys singing, dancing and watching horror films. She aspires to someday return to singing professionally.
Angela Solvin
Angela Solvin is business development director for University Medical Imaging (UMI). She has over 15 years experience in the healthcare industry and has previously worked in hospitals, physicians offices, and imaging facilities in Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, and California prior to joining UMI.
Mrs. Solvin graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento, in December 2000, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing. Angela enjoys the many relationships and friendships she has developed over the last several years in referring physician offices in the Sacramento area, and also enjoys marketing UMI's 3.0T HD MRI scanner, the latest in out-patient MR technology.
Away from the office, she enjoys traveling, working out at the gym, and spending time with her husband, and their three rescue kitties.
Anna Bogacz
Anna Bogacz is a site supervisor at University Medical Imaging. She has over 7 years experience in the medical field, with the last 5 years being specifically dedicated to MRI. In the office, she loves working day to day with her team, and making sure her patients always have a smile on their faces.
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, checking out new movies and restaurants, shopping and traveling to destinations shes never been to before.
Debbie Arnold
Debbie Arnold is the operations manager and chief financial officer at University Medical Imaging. A native of Sacramento, she graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in business management. Mrs. Arnold, whose parents are both business people, has always had an interest in business. She has owned and operated small businesses and holds a CPA license. Mrs. Arnold has been with University Medical Imaging since its doors opened, and finds it very fulfilling to be able to provide quality medical services to the community.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, going to Zumba fitness classes, hiking, fishing, traveling and tending to her garden in the summertime.
Lakeisha Wilson
Lakeisha Wilson graduated from Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health in 2010. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Management and Logistics from Community College of the Air Force and is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. Her committed public service includes both health care and customer server over many years.
Before joining University Medical Imaging, Mrs. Wilson was in the U.S. Air Force and worked at Mercy Medical Center hospital in Baltimore, MD, performing all facets of radiology, including general radiology, trauma exams, fluoroscopic imaging, portable radiographs and surgical procedures.
Away from work, Mrs. Wilson enjoys running, reading and baking sweet treats, but most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Jill Collins
Jill Collins is a marketing representative for University Medical Imaging. She holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and finance from Trinity Southern University in Plano, Texas. Prior to joining UMI, Mrs. Collins worked for Catholic Healthcare West Medical Foundation in Sacramento as a clinic operations manager at the Midtown location. She also has more than 20 years of sales, sales management and marketing experience in the healthcare and telecommunications industries and has worked for and with many highly recognizable Fortune 100 companies prior to joining the UMI team.
Away from work, Mrs. Collins enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys domestic and international travel, fine dining, swimming and participating in charitable fund-raising events such as the San Francisco AIDS Walk and the Sacramento Komen Race for the Cure.
Judy Mendoza
Judy Mendoza is a front office receptionist for University Medical Imaging. She has nearly 10 years of experience in the medical field, most of which gained in her home town of San Jose. In the office, she enjoys working with the UMIMRI team and focuses her efforts on excellent customer service.
At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and her other two boys – the family dog and bird! She enjoys cooking, entertaining, shopping and family trips.
Julie Barry
Julie Barry graduated from California State University, Sacramento, with a bachelor of science degree in 2000 and earned her Certified Radiologic Technologist and American Society of Radiologic Technologists certificates from the Yuba College Radiological Technology program in 2007.
Ms. Barry's interest in the technology and potential of new procedures inspired her decision to work in diagnostic imaging. Before joining University Medical Imaging, Ms. Barry worked in a Sacramento hospital performing x-rays, fluoroscopic x-rays and C-ARM studies in surgery.
Away from work, Ms. Barry enjoys jogging, kayaking and camping. She has participated in many local runs and charity events such as the California International Marathon and Eppies Great Race.
Perry Arnold
Perry Arnold is a 2010 graduate of the University of San Francisco, having focused his studies on entrepreneurship. He is working at University Medical Imaging as a courier over the summer. In the fall, he will travel abroad to pursue international studies.
Robert Smith
Robert Smith began his career in diagnostic imaging as an x-ray tech in 1988. His first job was in a fast-paced trauma center, where he gained extensive experience. He progressed from x-ray into the field of computerized tomography (CT). Mr. Smith worked for more than 10 years with CT imaging before moving to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in 2006.
Mr. Smith joined University Medical Imaging in 2008, where he has enjoyed working with the facility's state-of-the-art 3T GE scanner.
