Selecting a medical imaging provider may seem complex, but it is an important decision, and you do have a choice. At University Medical Imaging, we understand. Not only do we make sure that your images are the best quality, we focus on keeping compassion and humanity alive in healthcare.

X-Ray

X-ray is one of the most commonly used medical tests, effective for showing the internal bone structure of the body. Most of us are familiar with X-ray from routine dental exams. You will need a signed referral from your doctor for all X-rays.

Today’s X-ray technology and procedures use the lowest radiation dose possible to produce the necessary images. Images are typically captured digitally and provided as online images or on a CD instead of film. Traditional film is available upon request.

We can usually accommodate same-day X-ray exams. Call us at 916-922-6747 as soon as possible – before you arrive at our facility – so we can let you know what remaining openings we have available for that day. You can also schedule an appointment for a later date when you call. Download our registration form here and print it out. Sign the form and bring it with you to your appointment.
